(Phoenix, AZ) - Today, the Arizona Supreme Court decided to allow the 190-word description provided by Arizona Abortion Access. Arizona Right to Life maintains the description had failed to disclose the radical breadth of the proposed Amendment.

Yesterday, the Arizona Supreme Court ruled that the use of the phrase “unborn human being” does not violate the State’s impartiality requirement. This means the ruling by the Superior Court is overturned and the Secretary of State is authorized to use and print the phrase “unborn human being” in the election publicity pamphlet.

Once again, Arizona for Abortion Access (AAA) is misleading Arizonans by publicizing that their Initiative is on the ballot. The truth is, Arizona Right to Life has a pending lawsuit regarding the ballot language. As such, the Initiative cannot be on the ballot until the lawsuit is decided by the Arizona Supreme Court.
