Arizona Right to Life Calls on AZ Attorney General to Cease and Assist Mail-Order Abortion Drugs

Phoenix, AZ —

Arizona Right to Life calls on Attorney General Kris Mayes to join Arkansas Attorney General Tim Griffin to send cease-and-desist letters to multiple entities and tech companies that are either directly shipping abortion drugs into Arkansas or facilitating their promotion and distribution in violation of state law. AG Griffin was also joined by 15 state attorneys general in urging Congress to consider federal legislation that would preempt state-level shield laws designed to block enforcement of pro-life laws.

“These so-called ‘shield laws’ are a direct challenge to states' sovereign ability to protect life,” Chairman Jill Norgaard states.

We call on Attorney General Mayes to protect the pregnant girls and women in our state that are targeted by nefarious out of state and foreign profiteers who have blatant disregard for the laws of our state.
