Lies & Scare Tactics of Abortion Extremists will not Prevail in Fight for Preborn

(Phoenix, AZ) — Today, the Arizona Right to Life called on its allies in the fight against Proposition 139 to work together to overturn the constitutional amendment that enshrines abortion up until birth. On election day, Arizonans voted for the amendment with more than 61% of the vote.  

“Our state crossed a dark and tragic threshold with this vote and dealt a devastating blow to humanity,” said the Honorable Jill Norgaard, Chair of Arizona Right to Life. “The passage of this amendment is simply a result of months of lies and manipulation by abortion extremists who tried to scare women that they would lose access to medical care if they were pregnant.”

Arizona Supreme Court Rules Prop 139 Language Is Sufficient

"Unborn Human Being" Wins in AZ Supreme Court

Yesterday, the Arizona Supreme Court ruled that the use of the phrase “unborn human being” does not violate the State’s impartiality requirement. This means the ruling by the Superior Court is overturned and the Secretary of State is authorized to use and print the phrase “unborn human being” in the election publicity pamphlet.
